FUND RAISING

The PAL Center has always had a commitment to maintain or improve the education, employment, economic prosperity, and overall quality of life of the people in the area that we serve. It is through the continued support of our boosters, community, alumni, and businesses that the PAL Center programs have grown to maintain the services they provide to the community.

Our Annual major fundraiser is THE PALS of PAL George K. Lee Golf Tournament. This fundraiser is held in the spring each year, at a state-of-the-art golf course. Provisional Educational Services, and PAL Center welcomes single and team golfers, amateurs, semi-pros, novices, experienced, anyone who will come to have a good time and support a very worthy cause.

The format includes a 4 layer scramble, long drive contests, closest to the hole contest, hole-in-one, vehicle prize, putting contests, luncheon, raffles, awards, and much more.

All monies, earned and/or donated to the PAL Center are used to provide an amazing array of services, products, and scholarships to the clients that we serve.

DONATIONS

Provisional Education Services was incorporated in 1984, and is tax-exempt under section 501© (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions, grants, and bequests to Provisional Educational Services, Incorporated are tax-deductible.

The PAL Center can receive contributions in varied forms (i.e., checks, vehicles, equipment, endowments.) These contributions will help us inspire, role model, and positively intervene in the lives of youth and adults who seek to become contributing citizens to society.

Planned gifts, such as Wills, will help support the PAL Center’s future work in providing education, employment and other services for the lesser advantaged populations of our society. These constituents need education and employment to break a vicious cycle. The PAL Center works hard to provide both.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are always needed and welcomed as they provide integral services that may not be possible without the in-kind and personal time donations of volunteers. Volunteers make dreams come true.

The programs at the PAL Center afford volunteer opportunities for:

Teachers
Mentors
Counselors
Tutors
Teacher aides
Clerical workers

Any volunteered time to the agency is greatly appreciated. With the help of volunteers, donors, and grants, we have pioneered a one-stop community based education and employment training center easily accessible to the population.
