Outreach to the Homeless
The PAL Center's Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Youth Program, and the Operation Safe Harbor Transitional Living Program recently collaborated to distribute clothing, food, and gifts to homeless persons in San Bernardino. The event was held December 20 at Secombe Park where other area organizations also donated items to the PAL Center for distribution to the lesser advantaged populations during the holiday season. The experience the job of the appreciative recipients reminded us that it is better to give than to receive, especially during the holiday season.

The handicapped accessible PAL Center's main campus sits on a 6.2 acre tract of land in the Muscoy community.

The property features views of the local mountains, a park with picnic pavilions, theater stage, basketball court, tennis court, two handball courts, children's playground, access to a baseball field, state-of-the-art computer labs with Internet access, and eight buildings with 17,376 square feet of classroom, office, and multipurpose space.

The two-building childcare facility and the transitional living house are located in the cities of San Bernardino and Rialto, respectively.
