
Overview of the WIOA Youth Program
The WIOA Youth Program is intended to provide continual services with a range of program options emphasizing the long-term development of youth that prepare them for succeeding in employment, including summer employment opportunities linked directly to academic and occupational learning.
Eligibility Criteria:
The program serves youth ages 18 to 24 that live in San Bernardino County (outside of the city limits), are low-income, unemployed, and meet one or more of the following eligibility criteria:

Deficient in basic literacy skills

High school dropout

Disabled/ Special education

Foster Care/ After Care

Substance abuse

Parenting/ Pregnant youth

County assistance/ Cash aid

Offender
-
Homeless
-
Gang status/involved

Youth of incarcerated parents

Limited English
